In extenso is a not-profit art organisation founded in 2002 in Clermont-Ferrand (France) by Marc Geneix and Sebastien Maloberti. It is focused on 3 main activities: exhibitions, publications, and developing the exchanges between contemporary art venues in the centre of France with the magazine La belle revue.
In extenso exhibits national and international artists in its gallery space in the city centre of Clermont-Ferrand, and also through an offsite programme. Four to five exhibitions are held in Clermont each year, and oneĀ to two elsewhere, in other venues, either in France or abroad, where In extenso is invited.
Since 2005, In extenso publishes or co-publishes exhibition catalogues and artists books. In 2009, we launched the magazine La belle revue, composed of exhibition reviews of the past year and a portfolio section dedicated to the artists living in the centre of France. The website complements the paper issues: in addition to an exhibition review published monthly, it provides an up-to-date calendar of the contemporary art projects in our area, as well as calls for artists or curators and artist's artworks in situ.
