Callewaert Vanlangendonck Gallery focuses on the important chapter of the Belgian avant-garde art after 1945.
The gallery shows on the one hand lyrical and geometrical abstracts from historical artist groups as Art Abstrait, Art Construit, Formes, G58, Nieuwe Vlaamse School and Zero Movement. On the other hand the gallery organises contemporary exhibitions. This dialogue reveals the timelessness and immortality of abstract art.
Besides retrospective and solo exhibitions, the gallery represents permanently the work of Guy Vandenbranden, Paul Van Hoeydonck, Mark Verstockt, Jef Verheyen, Gilbert Swimberghe, Pol Bury, Luc Peire, Gilbert Decock, Jan Dries, Jan Saverys, Michel Seuphor, Jo Delahaut, Jean Rets, Pol Mara, Jan Cox, Koen van den Broek, Boy & Erik Stappaerts, Jef Meyer, Timothy Segers and many others.
