Piktogram is a non-profit organization founded in 2005 to publish "Piktogram Talking Pictures Magazine" and to organize themed and research based exhibitions at specifically selected venues, e.g. hotel rooms, the Financial Centre building or a cinema theater.
Between 2011–2014 Piktogram was operating a non-commercial art space. In 2012 the magazine publication was closed.
In 2011 it has initiated the Warsaw Gallery Weekend, in 2015 it has founded NOT FAIR, and in 2024 co-founded CONSTELLATION.
Since 2015 Piktogram has begun to operate as a gallery and has been representing artists.
In that year Piktogram has moved from the former space at a post industrial building redesigned by Projekt Praga in Warsaw Kamionek district to downtown where it had two venues at the same building on 9 Kredytowa street. From 2022, Piktogram had changed it's location to 4 Górskiego Street ground floor with window vitrines, right in the center of Warsaw.
