Wilfried Lentz Rotterdam

Wilfried Lentz Rotterdam was established in April 2008 and offers an international program of contemporary art. The program expresses an interest in the cultural and social conditions of our environment– how it is formed and perceived, as well as its stories and myths. Most of the artists use forms of appropriation and express their ideas through an innovative use of different mediums. Gallery artists have been included in international exhibitions such as Documenta, biennials in Venice, Istanbul, Gwangju, Taipei and Sao Paulo, Performa New York and Manifesta. Our clientele consists of private and institutional collectors from all over the world.

Since 2014 we are housed on the three upper floors of the former bath-house of the Justus van Effen block allowing us to offer two parallel shows at the same time. There is a cycle of approximately six one-person exhibitions a year with a focus on new productions. In addition to the main program there will be a series of thematic shows running with a longer cycle.
